Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born June 15 1996 in Stavanger and known professionally as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized in the form of AURORA is a Norwegian artist and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the label Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise from musicians and music blogs as well as the press. She has recorded several high-profile song covers, including Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which were widely appreciated. Katy Perry, who endorsed the song Runaway through her music, offered an additional boost to the music. Celebrate her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard in her loft and being fascinated by the music. Parents May-Britt as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to study music, not for a career or hobby but rather to gain experience. Thus, she began writing her own songs. Alongside Bjork and Bjork, she also credits Leonard Cohen as an influence. When she was told by her mother that her songs could assist her in gaining recognition, but also let other people realize their significance on the planet and realise the potential of her songs, she opted to start performing in public. The piano was her first instrument at the age of six, and began creating music when she was nine. They didn't let her parents know about her musical journey until she was 14. There was no way she could have imagined for her to achieve Aurora. According to her, she simply loves writing music. According to her, music is the best way for expressing anything.
